This is a great way to keep your refrigerator smelling fresh without that ugly yellow box! I saw something similar to this on Pinterest, but since I didn't use any actual tutorials - just sort of winged it - I want to share with you how I did it. All you need to make this is a pretty piece of cardstock, a mason jar, scissors, a needle, a pen and a hole puncher and baking soda (both not pictured).
Then, cut it out and place it on top of your mason jar, securing it with the ring of the lid.
Next, using your sewing needle, randomly poke holes through your paper.
Then, grab your baking soda, remove the top, pour the baking soda in, and replace the top.
Then, realize that your holes aren't nearly big enough and grab your hole puncher and punch holes in a random, yet slightly purposeful manner.
Finally, place in your refrigerator and let it work its' magic! (And please, don't judge me for my messy refrigerator!)
I love it! Easy and fun - this is a simple DIY to help make your refrigerator look and smell nice! What projects have you all been working on lately? Any refrigerator inspired ones? I'd love to hear about them!
