Remembrance and a Recipe

On Monday, we remembered an amazing man - a hero in our country's history. I hope that each of us took a moment to remember the great things that this man worked towards and the hopes and dreams that he hoped for each us to realize.

I had hoped to drop in over the past couple of days while Josh and I were visiting Colorado - had posts all planned and everything - but we got caught up with traveling and seeing friends, and internet was not always readily available. We did have a wonderful time during our trip and we were so sad to come home - even though we were excited to see our cute puppy who we missed so much! Because I didn't post the past couple of days - I am going to be back with another blog post early this afternoon, so be sure to come back to check them out! Before you do that though, here is an easy recipe for roasted garlic.

First, preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Then, gather your ingredients (head of garlic, salt, EVOO, piece of tin foil, knife and cutting board) and take your head of garlic (or half head!) and slice the top off.



Next, place this on a piece of tin foil and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and about a tsp of olive oil. 


Then, wrap the foil around the garlic and place in the oven. 


After 45 minutes, you can take out the garlic and TA-DA! Roasted Garlic! 


Each clove will easily slide to use in all sorts of different recipes - including one I'll be back to share with you later today! Hope you all have a wonderful morning!
